Capcom will have a very limited presence at EVO 2012

Just got an appointment to see Capcom at EVO, yes an appointment Jimmy. We've got all the info on what exactly is happening with Capcom at EVO.

Nothing.

There is one panel. SFxT might be there, but I'm not sure it's going to be playable on the floor. I don't think Capcom is going to look anything like it did last year. They gots nothing right now.

EVO Panel: “Capcom: The Year Ahead”
Friday, July 6 from 2-3pm

Producers Tomoaki Ayano, Ryoto Niitsuma, and Derek Neal will be on hand to discuss what the future holds for Capcom’s fighting game franchises. New details will be revealed for the console version of Street Fighter X Tekken, as well as the new PlayStation Vita game releasing this fall. There will also be discussion about the upcoming Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tournament series… and a few other surprises!

I'm not sure if this has been announced anywhere else yet. I haven't seen this info. We had to reserve seats for this. Tomoaki is the SFxT Jimmy, so we won't have anything for him. Sorry Arthvader. Derek Neal is for Street Fighter III, I don't really know what he's going to bring. DLC talk maybe. Niitsuma is the man in charge of Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. I'm pretty sure there will be some talk about when a where a patch or update is finally going to happen. Especially since this whole infinite TAC debacle.

I have a question to ask for Tomoaki. could you ask about the possibility of Mega Man and Pac-Man on the 360 version, since they were both in the coding on the 360 ver.?

Also, could you ask Niitsuma if there will ever be a lobby mode for the Heroes & Hearlds mode? It would be interesting to fight friends in that mode without having to search endlessly for them randomly, and that's if they're even on the opposite side compared to you.

The only question I have is when are they going to drop Darkstalkers 4, other than that I'm not concerned. It would be nice to see more DLC for UMvC3, but there is about 0% chance of that. Might want to bring a coffee if you plan to be awake at the end of the panel.

Well we can't expect Darkstalkers 4, Ono isn't coming to EVO this year. Maybe comic-con maybe. But it looks like Capcom is stepping back from the scene right now. I hope I'm wrong.

Looks like Seth Killian (aka killings) will be at EVO to rep Sony Santa Monica studios and their PS All-Stars game.
